What Does ES6+ Mean?
ECMAScript is the standard that defines JavaScript. ES6, also called ECMAScript 2015, introduced major language improvements, and later editions added more features. Developers often use “ES6+” as shorthand for modern JavaScript syntax and capabilities.

Arrow Functions and Template Literals
Arrow functions provide concise function syntax and do not create their own this value. They are useful for callbacks, array transformations, and small functions, but regular functions remain appropriate when a function's own this behavior is needed.
Template literals use backticks and allow expressions inside ${...}. They are useful for readable strings, multi-line text, and composing messages without repeated string concatenation.
Destructuring, Spread and Rest
Destructuring extracts values from arrays or properties from objects into variables. It can make function parameters and data handling more readable when the source structure is clear.
The spread syntax expands iterable values or object properties into a new array or object. The rest syntax collects remaining values into an array or object. These operations are shallow copies, so nested objects may still share references.
Modules and Asynchronous JavaScript
JavaScript modules let you export and import values between files. Organize modules around clear responsibilities and avoid circular dependencies where possible.
Promises represent the eventual result of asynchronous work. Async functions let you write promise-based code using await. Handle rejected promises with try/catch or appropriate rejection handling, and consider loading, timeout, and cancellation behavior for network requests.
Practice with Real Examples
Use map to transform arrays, filter to select matching items, and reduce when you need to combine values into a single result. Choose the method that makes intent clear, and avoid mutating shared data unexpectedly.
