Broad-Spectrum Parasite Control

• Albendazole:

  • Effective against gastrointestinal worms (e.g., Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus)

  • Controls lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus)

  • Has some effect on adult liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica)

  • Ovicidal action (kills worm eggs), reducing pasture contamination

• Ivermectin:

  • Targets both internal (roundworms, lungworms) and external parasites

  • Controls mites (e.g., mange), lice, ticks, and certain fly larvae

  • Strong systemic activity—longer duration of protection
